We are dedicated to creating balanced, inclusive work environments which provide equal opportunities for all colleagues, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, identity or experience.
We are committed to building an inclusive culture that recognises talent without discrimination, and connects us closer to our customers and the communities we serve.
Colleague participation and feedback are at the heart of our Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging strategy. One of the ways in which we’re working to become a fairer, more inclusive business and ensure everyone’s voice is heard is through our colleague networks.
These internal communities are made up of colleagues from across the globe, who meet regularly to discuss key issues, share experiences and suggest improvements. Each network is sponsored by two members of our Senior Management Team, who act as mentors and advocates, and help to action positive change across the business.
Our Accessibility networks represent those with disabilities and diverse
abilities. They strive to elevate awareness around disabilities, illness and mental health conditions, and improve access for all.
The Balance networks at Informa Markets build upon the Group-wide
AllInforma Balance initiative, which is focused on supporting gender
balance throughout the business in all areas and at all levels.
Our Nations networks represent and focus on Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) diversity. They aim to connect and support colleagues from underrepresented groups, celebrate different cultures and improve
awareness of challenges such as racism, discrimination, inequality and
injustice.
Our Rainbow networks represent and focus on LGBTQIA+ diversity and are closely aligned to the wider AllInforma Rainbow network, which aims to connect and support colleagues who identify as LGBTQIA+ or who support or want to learn more about the LGBTQIA+ community.
Informa’s global Diversity and Inclusion Policy helps colleagues to understand their responsibilities around diversity and inclusion, while our internal Speak Up platform provides a confidential way for colleagues to report any concerns.
We publish a UK Colleagues and Pay report each year as part of government gender pay gap reporting and to share information on our approach to talent diversity and inclusivity. Read the latest Informa UK Colleagues and Pay Report 2019, or see the 2018 Colleagues and Pay report here.
As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to hiring and promoting diverse voices of all backgrounds and experiences. As such, all applicants who match the criteria of the job description will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or national origin.
At Informa Markets, we believe that a diverse business is a stronger, more sustainable one. We’re committed to creating equal opportunities and supporting inclusivity in all that we do.
One way we’re doing this is through our Supplier Diversity Portal, which aims to support greater diversity across our global supplier base and sourcing processes.
We want to make our business more accessible to small or diverse businesses, who share our values and want to join us in helping our customers to trade, innovate and grow.
