Informa Markets’ Fashion portfolio has launched a new biweekly webinar series targeted at providing resources and information to the Fashion industry. The series, which launched on March 30th, features a rotating group of panelists whose expertise range from financial services, marketing, retail management and law, as well as industry experts from various fashion associations.
The initial session was titled Small Business Survival Guide: How to Navigate Uncharted Waters During COVID-19 and covered options for business loans and financial assistance programs, retail planning, assessing credit risk, production and inventory scheduling/planning strategies, as well as local initiatives available for small businesses nationwide, including local grants in every state. The second session, which launched on April 16th was titled Digital Strategies for Brands & Retailers, and focused on how to strategize deliveries, create and drive traffic to an e-commerce store, and social media advertising and shopping.
The webinars have been attended by an average of 1,700 partners throughout the industry. While completely complementary, voluntary donations are accepted for the CFDA’s charitable foundation, A Common Thread, which is providing financial support to brands and retailers that have been significantly impacted by COVID-19. To sign up for one of the upcoming webinars, you can visit the Fashion Frameworks website, and to watch the previous webinars on demand, you can launch the titles above.
